What is the purpose and mission of Live for Yourself (LFY) Consulting?
The purpose of Live for Yourself Consulting is to guide leaders that are feeling stuck through leadership coaching and career development to create a career and life they love. We strive to live our purpose through 1:1 executive coaching conversations, corporate wellness workshops, curating a growth mindset, understanding the job serach process and job market, and community events in order to develop leaders and guide them toward a career they can love. Our clients have been running on overdrive for their whole life and when they stop for a moment, it hits them, despite all their work, they aren’t actually happy about where they are in their career. We see the same story over and over again and we are here to change it.
What is a leadership coach that puts your career first?
A leadership coach that puts your career first is a professional that creates and guides you through a program specifically developed with and for you. You may want to focus on career coaching, focused on career growth, career change, career planning, and your overall career journey, or specifically on leadership development, employee engagement, team dynamics, professional growth, etc, or both. Your personalized program will lead you towards a career change that you feel proud of and that tends to be out of your comfort zone, the development of a strong inner champion and growth mindset, provide career advice, and all the strategies and tools to actually BELIEVE in a career you love. This involves getting clear on your vision, developing and working towards your goals, and accepting and becoming the person you need to be, to ultimately have the work and life you desire. A coach is there to challenge you, hold you accountable, and push you past your limits, while also ensuring you are safe and in an empathetic and compassionate environment. A coach can see the things you can’t and say the things no one else will.
What is it like to work with a leadership coach that puts your career first?
The coaching process is unique for each client but generally involves weekly Zoom audio sessions that are 1 hour in length, and focused on a specific overall goal. Each session spends time exploring current issues and concerns, problem solving, reframing belief systems, and specific assignments related to the overall purpose of the program. Live for Yourself Consulting bases its programs and work from applied learning theory, and research related to curriculum design and leadership development. Thus, programs include a combination of coaching calls and various experiential personalized assignments. The coach and client relationship is founded in trust, openness, honesty, respect, and empathy, and is always focused and goal oriented towards guiding the client in taking back control of his or her life and the overall purpose and goals of the program.
How long does coaching take?
LFY Consulting is founded on the principles that the coaching process is not forever and that clients should reach a level of sustainable career fulfillment and leadership development. The goal of the coaching programs are to develop an internal leader that can guide them throughout their life without consistent coaching.
Based on previous clients successes and other professional experiences, clients tend to develop the traits for self leadership and “ Get Unstuck” in approximately 3 months. After a completed program it is common for clients to schedule individual coaching sessions on an as-needed basis or switch to a once a month support and empowerment retainer program.
Why audio coaching calls and not video or in-person?
The coaching process requires that the client and coach are in an environment free of distractions, and near a computer to review assignments and take notes regarding the current session. The audio component allows both the coach and client the focus they need to achieve the growth that is desired.
How much does coaching cost?
Individual coaching programs are personalized for each client and may differ on intensity, value, and length of programs. Investment options range but longer term programs start at a minimum of 3,500 and increase based on length and value.
May I talk with you first before committing to a program?
If you are interested in coaching, We are happy to have a leadership and career coach reach out for a short phone conversation. If it does feel like a possible fit, then the next step is an introductory coaching session or full package. If it doesn’t or if you want to think it over before committing, that is fine but open coaching slots cannot be guaranteed for longer than 48 hours. Can I pay in installments?
Yes. Clients who pay for their own coaching can pay in one or multiple installments depending on the program. A full or installment payment is due prior to the first session. Subsequent installment payments are made at specified sessions. Lump sum discounts are available to those that pay in one installment for longer term programs.
